Household Waste Collection 
 

Biffa Leicester is responsible for the weekly collection of waste from all households in Leicester City.

Apart from the items that are accepted in the green recycling box ALL other HOUSEHOLD WASTE should be put into your black wheelie bin. 

Please ensure your wheelie bin is presented at the edge of your property on collection day between 7.00am and 5.30pm, ensuring that the lid is closed and no extra bags of waste are by the bin.

Missed Bins
If your wheelie bin is not emptied on the scheduled day, please contact us. After receipt of the complaint, we will endeavour to arrange collection by the end of the next working day.

Assisted Collections
Householders that are elderly and/or disabled and cannot present their wheelie bin and recycling box at the kerbside for collection can request assistance. In such cases the collection of household waste and recyclables can be made from an agreed point, for example from the side gate, with bins being returned once emptied.
