Services for Schools

A waste and recycling service is available to all schools in Leicester City, which includes a weekly waste collection as well as the following recycling collections;

CARDBOARD*
PAPER - white office paper aswell as
newspapers
magazines
junk mail
catalogues
directories
PLASTIC BOTTLES ONLY washed, squashed, lids off
GLASS BOTTLES/JARS washed and lids removed

By signing up for this service your school will not only 'do its' bit for the environment by recycling, but will also save on waste disposal costs. We expect that by recycling cardboard, paper, plastic bottle, glass bottle and jars, the waste produced at your school will be minimised and therefore less waste containers will be required, which will reduce overall weekly disposal costs.
